I'm not sure of how likely, but I like to think that it was love at first sight for me and "the pending" lol (I have to laugh everytime I say that)

Now, how likely for, "what you thought was love at first sight", to last? Hmmmmm… I guess that's why we are "pending" LMAO!!

I think it's very likely and I think it actually happens more commonly with men. I think it's a spiritual kind of connection. And very possible if your heart eyes are opened to it

That was an interesting question…I don't know I've never experienced it. I've experienced Lust at first sight many of times. LOL :)

I feel in love with this guy from first sight… once… when I was a teen… he ended up being a woman beater so I have learned that slow and steady is a better approach…

I think an extreme attraction is possible at first sight. One that is more than just physical. But I wouldn't call it love. Maybe pre-love?

I agree with commentarybyvalentina. It's just a strong interest/attraction at first sight.

  8. I believer wholeheartedly at love at first sight, because it happen to me. Unfortunately the timing for me was bad, but I still care for this person dearly – unfortunately they will never know that. I can assure you it was love at first sight, and I still feel the same and I have confidence they do as well. That damn thing called bad timing always messes up everything.

I do not believe in "love at first sight", but I do feel that there is a deep-seated inclination when you began to interact with a person during a first encounter that you are significantly linked. Love comes with time, experience and commitment, not just with a physical attraction. When I met my helpmeet/soul mate for the first time, I did not feel he was the one. However, after our first date I knew that we had a connection that was real and possibly would result in a long-term relationship. We often color and reflect upon positive experiences in a way that make them seem "fairy tale" like and I think that is why we believe in love at first sight.
