Random 7 w/ Ha-Style

1. What is a song that gets stuck in your head every time you hear it?
   That annoying song by Jay Sean and Lil Wayne. “Baby are you down, down, down, down. Doooowoooown.” I hate that song with a passion, but every time I hear it, it plays in my head for the rest of the day. It’s playing in my head right now.




2. If you could take a glimpse into the future, would you want to? If so, how far ahead would you look and what would you want to look at or expect to see?
   I don’t think I want too. I don’t think we’re meant to because I feel as though GOD has given us the power to shape our own future. Its based on the decisions we make today. If I did, I would probably see me still on stage doing 15 shows a month and making a living for myself and being independent and owning a bigger company.




3. List 5 things that would make you categorize a woman as ugly or unattractive.
   1)A control freak. I grew up with a step-father and my biological father in my life. I’m a man’s man, I like to take the lead. Me and a control freak would really have some serious problems.

   2)A “Debbie Downer.” That’s extremely annoying. I like to watch positive black television, science fiction, and hear stories of other people’s triumphs. If she’s over here telling me how bad gas prices are, the economy, how she doesn’t like a certain co-worker, or her mom’s asked her a question that got to her. Umm, I’ll go ghost in a hot minute.

   3)Someone that’s indecisive. I’m in an industry where something like that can give you a bad rep or make you lose money because everything is constantly moving. So I’m used to making a decision and sticking with it. If the sistah can’t decide if she wants the salad or the number four the date is over.

   4)Someone who is clingy. I was on the road atleast 35% of this year and someone who constantly has to call me and needs my time and wants to be everywhere I am gets to be a bit much.

   5)Two years ago, I wouldn’t have said this. But a woman that isn’t involved in church or at least spiritual seem to have a hard time getting comfortable around me and vice versa. A lack of a spiritual background is a big factor now.




4. What do you think the differences are between a girlfriend and a wifey?
   A girlfriend is fun. You can have a fling with a girlfriend. Its more about enjoying the moment and not really looking forward to anything. A wifey is someone you wouldn’t mind struggling with. You wouldn’t mind them getting on your nerves and you’re looking long-term. A wifey supports you and checks you.




5. How would you respond if someone disrespected you in the worst way, by spitting on you?
   I’m not gonna lie, there’s a reason I have the name Ha-Style. I would say it depends on the situation and I definitely try to keep my emotions in check.




6. What kind of man are you: Tits or Azz? What made you choose the one over the other?
   Azz since I’m African-American and that’s what I’m naturally attracted too… So azz, if she has atleast a B-Cup and azz, we good. She better bring a personality with it though. I think I chose that because I grew up around a LOT of Hispanic women and a LOT of them had tits, but no azz. I got tired of being excited when they walked toward me but disappointed and….confused when they walked away. I love my Latinas though, ask about me on the Westside. HA!




7. If your life was ending in the next five minutes, what would be ONE final positive impact you would want to leave on the world?
   I wasn’t afraid to dream and try in a world where everyone seems so grim. I think if I can leave people with that impression, then I’ve done my job.
