Regina was unusually quiet as she and Jae made their way over to Morgan’s house the next night. “What’s on your mind, baby?” Jae questioned as she pulled up to the curb.

Regina bit her lip before choosing her words carefully. “I.. I don’t know.. I’m just not feeling too well tonight. Let’s not stay long, okay?”

Jae looked Regina over with a defeated look, but nodded her head as she started to exit the car. “If you feel you can’t make it through the evening, we can go.” Still, Regina hadn’t moved from her seat. She hadn’t even bothered to take off her seatbelt yet. By now, Jae had made it over to her side of the car and was pulling the door open. Reluctantly, Regina removed her seatbelt and pried herself from the seat. Taking Jae’s hand, she slowly made it up the walkway. While Jae gently tapped on the door and waited for a response, Regina kept her eyes on her shoes in an attempt to avoid fidgeting.

After just a few moments, Morgan finally answered the door and let them in. She gave a her best friend a hug and Regina a kiss on the cheek. “Haven’t seen you in a minute” Morgan commented with a slight smirk. “But glad y’all could finally make it over. Everyone is already set up to go in the living room. Can I get y’all something to drink?”

“Rum and coke for me” decided Jae.

“A double shot of the strongest thing you’ve got” responded Regina still seemingly fascinated by her shoes.

“Cool. Y’all go ahead into the living room. I will bring the drinks out in a minute.”

After two games of Taboo and a couple of hours spent on Monopoly, the group settled in for a movie. As the night progressed and the more Regina drank, she couldn’t help a brewing frustration with Morgan’s ability to play so cool. How could she sit there enjoying the evening with all that was lying under the surface? Now entertaining her 8th straight shot of tequila, Regina was no more good. ‘Bathroom!” she announced to her group of friends before she allowed her body to stumble in its direction. Nearly 10 minutes had passed before Morgan decided she should check on her. “I will be right back.”

Morgan made her way to the bathroom and gently tapped on the door. Wasting no time, Regina swung it open and dragged Morgan in. “Took you long enough!” she snapped poking Morgan in the chest.

Nearly laughing in Regina’s face, Morgan smirked. “Maybe you shouldn’t have drank so much. What’s the issue?”

“My issue is you!” Regina boomed while attempting to maintain her balance. “You sit there like everything is okay. Joking, laughing and playing and you know it’s not!”

Morgan could sense that Regina was irate and although she wanted nothing more than for her to lower her voice, she found the little attitude to be cute. “Look, just splash some water on your face and hang out in here until you chill out. You making this whole thing extra when it doesn’t have to be. Chill.” Morgan placed her hand on the small of Regina’s back in order to pull her close and place a light kiss on her forehead, then she turned around to return to the living room.

Feeling weak from the warmth of Morgan’s hand on her back and the tender kiss on her forehead, she reached for Morgan’s hand to stop her from leaving. Without saying a word, Morgan turned back around to face her. With her flats on, Regina was barely capable of reaching Morgan’s chin, so on her tippy-toes she leaned up in order to softly kiss her lips. Morgan slowly parted her lips in order to invite the warm caress of Regina’s tongue.

Deeply absorbed in one another, they remained in this kiss as the moments passed by. Before long, their hands started to explore one another and Morgan was beginning to push her body against Regina’s, moving her towards the bathroom counter and sitting her on top of it. Now that she had Regina seated and without breaking their kiss, Morgan began to push up Regina’s skirt, only to realize she wasn’t wearing any panties. “For real though?” she asked, parting their lips. All Regina could manage was a blush as she pulled Morgan closer to her once again.

Just as Morgan’s fingers were able to taste the heating moisture between Regina’s thighs, there was a knock on the door. “Baby, you good?” came Jae’s voice. Morgan quickly backed away from the counter and flushed the toilet as Regina jumped down and quickly started adjusting herself.

When Morgan was sure Regina was finished and looked put back together, she opened the door. “Yeah man, she should be cool. Guess all those shots caught up to her and she had to bring ‘em back up. You know she was never good at holding her liquor.” she joked. Jae looked into the bathroom to see Regina leaning over the sink splashing water over her face.

“Thanks for looking out man.” responded Jae as dapped Morgan before watching her disappear down the hall. She stepped further into the bathroom to rub Regina’s back. “My poor baby. Let me get you home and into bed.” Jae kissed her forehead in the same place Morgan had just kissed a few moments before.

The two left the bathroom and said their goodbyes to the group before returning to Regina’s condo.
