Over the next couple of weeks, leading into months, it appeared that Regina just couldn’t find the right time to break the news to Jae. The same day that Regina announced her decision to Morgan, flames sparked up in Jae’s club – burning nearly half of it down. Regina couldn’t bare to end their relationship when for the first time, Jae needed her the most. After agreeing with Morgan to let some time pass and allow Jae to rebuild her business, Regina was again prepared to break the news to her. Unfortunately, the day before she was ready for that conversation, Jae received news that her brother passed away in the military overseas. Again, Regina felt compelled to be there for her and put the news to the side. Without an appropriate time to let her down, Regina continued to live her double life, while Morgan was starting to lose her patience… and interest.
“Look, maybe we should just cool out for awhile. Jae has a lot going on and I know you care for her. You should be there for her.” Morgan spoke sternly without looking at Regina.
“What exactly are you saying?” Regina asked locking her eyes on Morgan’s expressions.
“We messed up and made a mistake. I don’t want to do this anymore. This whole situation was foul and we need to just end things here.” Morgan got off the couch and started pacing through the living room.
“Just forget about everything that’s happened? Morgan, are you kidding me?” Regina could feel her blood starting to boil and her heart sinking at the very same.
“I don’t want to argue with you. Fact of the matter is that this thing between us is over. I’m going my own way.” Without waiting for a response Morgan was across the living room and out the front door. She was fed up with the situation and no longer wanted to be a part of it.
