After talking with my mentor and hubby about the current state of things, they both told me I need to step out in faith. Now, mind you, things are not bad, I’m blessed and so is my family. But, I have been at my current job for 10 years and a lot of people would say that it’s awesome and such an accomplishment and such. And yes it is! Not a lot of people my age can say that. I also enjoy what I do and the people who I work with in my immediate circle, however…I am not a fan of anything else.
And, now that I have been forced to take a hiatus from graduate school, I am taking this time to pursue some hidden goals. I have a lot of goals that I have successfully placed into a top 3 list. So, here they are:
1. Open up my wedding/event planning business
2. Expand my blog
3. Find a career that I love and not just like intensely. (This goal ties into the first one)
I also want to show my daughters that it’s okay to step out there and follow your dreams; especially if it’s one of your dreams. No, it won’t be easy but it will be worth it. Some of you may be wondering how to do that, and first, you have to trust God and allow Him to give you the courage to do it. Then you have to have the support behind you. I mean…come on…who else are you going to share all the joys and tears with?! lol
After that, just go for it!! Nothing beats a failure but a try and I plan to give it my all!
I’m steppin out on faith and nothin can stop me!!

Good Post!!
I am currently in the middle of my leaping as of now. But I can tell you that I am very happy with the process and works of it all. When you stop worrying so much about the unnecessary, it seems that you can get a lot more accomplished. Just stay in high spirits and keep your faith in God and your eye on the prize… anything is possible!
I hear that Candi.”Just stay in high spirits and keep your faith in God and your eye on the prize… anything is possible!”That statement sums it up really well. Thanks for sharing your insight Candi.
