Godly Woman of Boldness & Strength
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9 (ESV)
“Seek the LORD and his strength; seek his presence continually!”
1 Chronicles 16:11 (ESV)
Ladies, as we continue to look at what it means to be a Godly Woman, lets discuss what it takes to be a woman with Boldness and Strength. The bible says in Joshua 1:9 (ESV) “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” God can develop boldness in us. His word commands us to have strength, courage, and to not fear. Boldness isn’t always reflected verbally but rather in our wisdom and obedience to the voice of the Lord. As Godly women, we can be bold when others are not. We are not concerned with what others think of us and we are not afraid to go where God commands us to go, even when its unfamiliar territory; because our trust is in Him.
1 Chronicles 16:11 (ESV) says to “Seek the LORD and his strength; seek his presence continually!” Godly Women always seek the Lord and know that their strength and ability to endure comes from Him. We often see a woman’s strength demonstrated when hard times or difficult tests arise. There was a couple who’s marriage was facing some hard times. They were thinking of divorcing but they had to consider their children before making the decision. From the outside looking in, the woman seemed to be doing just fine. Although emotionally she was affected by the situation, she didn’t allow it to keep her from being a Godly Woman. She remained committed and devoted to God during a time of feeling weak and vulnerable. Her commitment to God showed boldness throughout the entire time and her marriage was saved. It is His strength in us that gives us the ability to endure when everything else around us is falling apart. So remember ladies, when we face difficult times, it’s important to maintain spiritual strength because ultimately it is God who sees us through. But know that when we go before God in prayer, we can be as honest and vulnerable with Him as we need to be, after all He is our Father and He has our best interest at heart! Lets continue to be Godly Women of Boldness and Strength and be bold in our approach to fulfilling God’s will in our lives. Have confidence in our Father! He will never forsake us, He’s faithful, and He strengthens and protects His daughters. Remember that God loves you and created you with a purpose in mind.
